What did it look like? Was it that hut that they showed for the preview in the African Reunion? I don't wanna go to CBS cause i only know who the final 2 are and don't want to know anymore

It was really crappy. It was just one big hut sitting on the beach. Nothing really mentionable about it. The main part of TC took place around a fire place under the hut, then castaways walked along a path outside up to the voting confessional. When a player got voted out, the exited along the beach.

As a setting, I preferred it to the fake African village of S3 (although some of that was great too) and the Stonehenge in QLD of S2.
It was the long Marquesan hut pictured above and they'd show overhead shots of the Survivors walking along the shoreline to get there. The lights of the torches bobbing in the dark, with the white of the waves breaking on the beach... I thought it looked wonderful. Not as spectacular as the gold S5 set with the jetty and so on, but pretty good all the same. The hut was so close to the shoreline that the water was visible from TC, and I think you can hear the waves in some shots. Visually it was relatively simple and seemed more in keeping with local culture without being hokey than what we'd seen before. I think that's one of the reasons I liked it so much after S2 and S3. |

The best Tribal Council by far was Survivor:Thailand. So much work went into that and it looked amazing. Survivor 3,4, and 5 seemed to have had different and interesting tribal councils, unlike Survivor Amazon, which looks pretty ordinary to me!

I rate Amazon as onle of the best because it looks as if they were just wondering through the jungle and came a cross somr ruins of an old tribe. Unlike 3,4 and 5 which were all very much man made structures. IMO the S4 TC was very dull.
