Oh good so we will only be 6 days behind the US with it. Awesome! Too bad it will only be 8 eps.

SPOILERS FOR FIRST EPISODE AHEAD
That was really awesome. I already have a few questions. Firstly, who are the other 3 of the "Oceanic Six"? Secondly, why did Hurley wish he had gone with Jack? Locke's argument sure seemed more convincing at the time. Of course, this could be relating to something different altogether. I suppose the flashforward in this episode was set before the one in the season 3 finale as Jack said he was gonna grow a beard? It was awesome how Jack was going to kill Locke in front of everyone. I didn't think he would and my heart skipped a beat when he pulled the trigger. I'm so happy Lost is back! ![]() |

So are they always going to use flash forwards now instead of flashbacks?
Can't wait to see the episode! |

It'll be a combination of both, seeing as only 6 people get off the island.

That's not to say only six people survive, too. I don't doubt that some people remain on the island. Charlie kept telling Hurley "they need you" (and apparently it was written on his hand in the police station/water bit). I guess the question is why Jack and Hurley are so keen to get back. Why are they needed so bad? And why is Kate so "meh" about the whole thing?
And the person in the casket from the S3 finale...are they part of the Oceanic 6? I'd assume yes. So only 5 remain alive and home. Damn it! Just when I got all excited that Naomi wasn't actually dead, BOOM! She's dead, again. And seeing Charlie was a little weird. And cryptic, as usual. Also, we saw Jacob, again. But who's eye flashed up in the window? Eyepatch or Locke? Or someone else? ![]() |

Okay. Apparently it wasn't Jacob in the chair at all. Jack's dad, anyone?

Maybe it was Jacob taking the form of Jack's dad? Who knows. My friend thinks it was Paolo's eye in the window. After looking at a screencap, I can see that as a possibility.

Nup, apparently it was Jack's dad in the chair. Heh.
Ep 2 was a corker. Really enjoyed the flash backs of the new characters, and in true Lost style, begging more questions than revealing answers. The four boaters backgrounds were all interesting, as was Naomi's - very mysterious. The polar bear in Tunisia and the Hydra Station belt thingy were even more baffling that the thought of a polar bear on the island, and Miles' "gift"...hmm. And wtf was Daniel crying for when he was watching the news report about the 815 recovery? ![]() |

Surely Ben can't be one of the Oceanic 6. Surely!
Um, okay. So Sayid leaves the island, and is enlisted by Ben (major WTF's) to kill people who are endangering his "friends". By friends, I take it he is referring to the rest of the O6. The three most important q's coming to mind right now are: a) Who is trying to kill the O6? b) Why are they trying to kill the 06? c) HOW THE FUCK DOES SAYID COME TO TRUST BEN?!?! Why did Ben leave the Island when he has fought so hard and done so much *cough*genocide*cough* to preserve his island lifestyle? Who does Ben work for? Why is it so important that these boat people find the island, and why are they after certain island inhabitants, and why do they not want the survivors alive? I'm also taking the liberty to assume that if the boat people, or the people behind them at least, want the O6 dead in the future, then it wasn't them who "rescued" them, which begs the question - how exactly did the O6 get home?! And, so does this mean that from now on we should trust Ben?! My mind is officially blown right now! ![]() |

I just realised that of course Ben can't be one of the O6...he wasn't on the bloody flight.

So we now know 4 of the Oceanic 6. Jack, Kate, Hurley and Sayid. Any guesses on who the others are going to be?
They haven't done a single flash-back this season so far, so it's a fair guess that whoever the next episode is centred on will also be one of the Oceanic 6, (unless it's Desmond or Juliet of course). I reckon Locke will be one of them, because I just can't shake the feeling that he's the one who's funeral, (or rather viewing) Jack went to. |

The next episode is Kate, so maybe not.
My first thought was Locke, but I really think he'll either not leave the island, or die trying. I'm leaning towards Sawyer being in the casket, and maybe Sun and Jin being the other two of the Oceanic 6. If not, Claire and Aaron...that'd at least fulfill Desmond's prophecy that led to Charlie's death, right? ![]() |

Kate is now Aaron's mother hey? I assume Claire died on the island, though that negates Desmond's prophecy about Claire & Aaron being rescued. I knew pretty much from the start of the episode that Aaron would turn out to be her son. They never mentioned his name which was a big giveaway.
I loved Locke putting the grenade in Miles' mouth, that was totally badass and classic Locke. Kate episodes usually haven't interested me that much but I really enjoyed this episode. Her flashforwards are much more interesting than her flashbacks. This season is 2tali teh r0x0r so far ![]() |

Jesus christ. I was totally blindsided by that one. Another great episode. So Kate can't leave California for 10 years. Looks like she won't be making it back to the island.

Would Aaron be counted as one of the Oceanic 6? Also, did anyone catch Jack's courtroom comment about only 8 people surviving the crash?

Hmm, hard to say. He wouldn't have been on the manifest, so it would have been easy for Kate to claim her as her own. I was wondering how it would have been possible for Kate to claim a baby given it's age (3-4 months), plus she had to be pregnant for 9 months, but Daniel's little rocket experiment proved that time moves slower on the island than in the rest of the world, so it wouldn't have been hard for her at all.
The 8 people comment got me too, but I thought about it and the only way I can understand that is that the Oceanic 6 took two bodies back with them. The last bid to escape must have been pretty ugly! ![]() ...and tonight we can truly say, together we're invincible. |
