It was late night and we just heard thing massive BANG from another room, ran over to the other side of the house and massive gash had popped in the tank and water was pouring out.... Lets just say the clean up wasn't fun.

Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I stayed up late last night because I was working on several PCs at once, so I only got two hours sleep before I had to drive my son (who works in the fish section of a pet shop!) to work. I was having a catch-up nap when my wife told me. It was a tiny drip when I first saw it but after removing the hood, the silastic started letting go and before I had managed to drain any water the whole side was out but I managed to keep the release to a trickle, except on 3 or 4 occasions when it managed to rush out a little bit. Fortunately the damage wasn't too bad. It wet quite a bit of the floor and drowned some old computers. The floor is almost dry and the PCs will dry out but I'd hate to see my son's 6ft tank go.
