No way! I think Bob's making that up!
And speaking of Bob, he made a fake idol which he then gave to Randy. Randy tried to use it and got booted. So Randy (and Corrine, and the jury) would know that Bob duped him - but Bob could feign surprise and say that he found the fake one (not made it). But if Bob makes it to the F2, the truth is all gonna come out. It's been great entertainment, but could Bob have thrown away a potential jury vote? OTOH, Randy could reward such a move. Sounds like Bob is a playa! He could be playing Corrine really well in that clip above (and God knows she deserves it!) - but surely she's going to ask why he didn't mention all that back when... |

I think he's just trying to cover his ass with the hole fake Immunity Idol, to ensure jury votes. If they knew he was in on the whole fake-Idol scheme to
boot Randy, he'd struggle in a final 3 situation to get jury votes.

Average episode compared to the stuff we have had in previous weeks, but non-the less still pretty good.
I think Crystal played it pretty smart by voting out Corrine and not putting a vote down for Matty. I think this will screw up Kenny's chances of winning the big bucks at the end big time. |

Great episode if you ask me. The first time all season we've seen a really great attempt at showing us more of the castaways' personalities and lives.
The biggest criticism of the overrated Micronesia is how cold the season is overall. We get no sense of any of the castaways as people, but little more than
just pieces in a giant strategic puzzle. Blindsides and surprises at Tribal Council, a great season DO NOT make. It's the investment we put into the
characters and thusly investment we put into the season, that makes it worthwhile. Gabon is exceptional in this respect, and lightyears ahead of the sterile,
cold and emotionless Micronesia.
Great, great episode. The moments with Matty and Sugar were especially touching, notably the proposal and the scattering of the ashes. I don't think we've seen anything quite that touching in many years. |

Yeah, what Dal said... Micronesia was fucking awesome!!
This ep of Gabon was back to just maybe a little above average - nothing like what we've been seeing of late. But still enjoyable. Seeing that bitch voted out was the best. Did anyone see her Ponderosa videos? She's is an awful person, hideously awful. Here's a link to Corinne at Ponderosa (you have to sit through a 15 second ad first): http://www.cbs.com/primet...V&play=true&cc=93

Eat Yo Rice | ||

I've gotta say, every time now that someone says to me something affirmative or blunt, all I can hear is "EAT YO RICE."
Corinne was good value, but it was her time to go. It was so funny to see her get more and more frustrated every week at the incompetent players, but quite simply the woman is a bitch. She's the kind of person that gives pharma reps a bad name - so I've got to dislike her a bit for that. However, I can understand her frustrations, as this particular season has had nothing about strategy, because there was just one too many switches to destroy any hope of actual strategic players with a plan to make it far into the game. It's now ended up as the bottom feeders who have one by one taken out all the people who actually had a few neurons to rub together. I thought it was a good episode...Probably one of the better family visit episodes, but then again it made Bob's winning of the challenge a little redundant considering they all got to spend some quality time with their loved ones. However, I completely understand that it would be pretty heartless of the producers to fly the loved ones all the way to Africa and then not let most of them see their loved one. I thought Sugar's scattering of the ashes was quite touching. From the post show interviews from other contestants, they are saying that Sugar has gotten a really lucky edit, when in actual fact she was annoying out there - there's nothing I've seen to indicate any of that, so I'm barracking for her still. I may be going for a fictional character, but I'm ok with that. I did think Matty's display with his girlfriend was a little bit over the top, to the point of making me feel a little uncomfortable watching it, but as long as he was happy, I guess that's the main thing. Going on from here, I would desperately love to see Bob make it further (even all the way to the end), but I don't think he's got a chance in hell - they were already targetting him this episode, and I see no reason why they wouldn't keep targetting him. He's the one lone man out and I think as soon as he doesn't win immunity I reckon he'll be gone. I can hope that somehow the bottom-feeders on the five-person alliance wisen up and maybe Sugar's idol will come into play to boot out Kenny or Crystal, but I think that's very unlikely. Ever since the merge, I've had this awful and sickly feeling that Kenny is going to win. I really hope that is not the case and by some miracle he gets voted out before he gets to the end, but I don't think the others left are that cluey. I think he's made some wise moves, but overall I think he's had far too much luck, and I value strategic play more than that. That said, none of the others are any better (Bob's the closest to strategic there, and his only strategy was building things and making fake idols). On top of that, despite his luck, he comes across as so cocky and god's gift to the game. I just hope that the scene with his sister is foreshadowing his downfall: "I have secret two alliance. It's Sugar and Crystal, the big black woman. They trust me 100% because I saved both their asses...and right now, everybody trusts me, but I will blindside Matty. I took out five powerhouses...big guys. Everybody loves me. If I make the final 3, I will win this game." For me, that was probably one of the most unlikeable scenes of any Survivor ever - talk about self indulgent when it was just a hell of a lot of luck and twists falling in his favour every single time. And who were the five powerhouses he took out? Ok, GC (who quit); Ace (ok, maybe the only Kenny can take credit for since he lied to Sugar so blatantly); Marcus (which was actually Crystal who convinced Susie), Charlie (who he took out for personal reasons, and wasn't exactly a powerhouse); and Randy, who EVERYBODY wanted out. Doesn't Kenny realise that he's got millions of people watching him take credit for all that when really, Ace is the only one he can actually claim responsibility for. I'm praying he gets cut down and put on the jury. As for how I'm guessing it'll probably go down - I think Bob is an easy pick to go next...I'm holding onto the fact he's somehow safe, but the odds are against him. After that, Matty would be the next logical target due to him being a physical threat, and we haven't really been shown him pissing anybody off. After that, I think it could be anybody going...hopefully Kenny! Hopefully the girls will realise that the only way that any of them can win is if they team up and they are only up against each other - that would be AWESOME as we'd most likely see the most pissed off jury ever! At this stage, I'd love to see Matty, Bob or Sugar win - but if I had to bet I'd say Kenny. Ugh. ![]() |

Just wanted to make clear that the ep where Corinne got voted out was Ep 12, right?

Hey AO, it depends how you classify the episodes. If you count the premiere as episode 1 and 2, then Corinne got voted out in episode 12. If you're going
by the labelling of the torrents, she got voted out in episode 11.

Suck shit Corinne! I've hated her ever since she made a point in the premiere ep of saying how she planned on being a total bitch and how she was
"gonna own it". She was so fake, and I loved how Sugar got stuck into her in the beginning ("Ya hit the nail on the head, Corinne!") --
that was awesome...bitch deserved it.
I'm enjoying this season so much. The Randy boot was a scream, and to have Corinne follow him -- though a tad predictable -- is extremely satisfying. I'm now hoping for a Sugar, Bob or Crystal win. I'd LOVE to see Crystal take it out. She'd be such a great winner. I like Kenny but he's becoming way too cocky, and I don't like how he's so sure of himself. Crystal would be such a unique winner, compared to previous champs. Her and Randy have been the standouts for me this season -- such excellent casting. But having said that, I could deal with any of the remaining players winning -- even Susan and Matty, despite the fact that they both annoy me in ways. Go Crystal!!! |

I'm wondering why we are not seeing much of Susie - she hardly has any confessionals anymore. I thought she was pretty hopeless way back in the beginning,
but I do like how she has not wished any ill-feeling on anyone voted out - her comments have always been along the lines of wishing them well in life.
And there's something about her that reminds me of an American Indian - her composure, or something. I'm wondering if she makes it to the end, will the Kota Kids forgive her for flipping and vote for her. I don't think so though, they seem so consumed with bitterness. |
