Am really not liking Jen and Kisha - awful women.
I am hoping for a Tammy and Victor win, or failing that, a Margie and Luke win. I'd be okay with Jaime and Cara winning too, but NOT Jen and Kisha.

Sad to see the mini-men go, but fully expected it.

Oh I thought I had already commented on this.
I totally dont feel sorry at all for Luke. Are we meant to automatically feel sorry for him cause his deaf? Even though in my eyes it looked like it was his fault? I didnt feel sorry for him at all. Maybe at the pit stop when he was signing and she laughed.... yeah I think she laughed at him. But WTF at Margie for going 'You're a Black woman you should know what it feels like to be discriminated against!" WOW really Margie... really? I dont care who wins as long as its not Margie and Luke.... I think I want team fire crotch to take it out the most. |

See I do feel sorry for him.
I'd like to see Margie and Luke or the girls win. I dont really enjoy watching Tammy and Victor neither Jen and Kisha. The Mini Men were kinda funny, they screwed so much up it's amazing how long they lasted!

Yeah, I feel sorry for him too. I worked with deaf people for years and they really do have it much harder than the hearing population. If you think about it,
it's like having a language barrier all the time, and I don't think J&K could have done half as well as Luke has done had they been hearing
impaired. And what's more, I completely got where Margie was coming from with what she said to them about discrimination - they SHOULD know what that's
like.

I think there was fault on both sides in the confrontations. I think that the initial confrontation between Luke and Jen was a bit of an accident, caused in
part by the fact that Luke is a bit physically awkward and throws his body round a lot, a bit like a young child. I don't think there was necessarily any
ill intent in it. But this instantly sparked animosity between the two teams that just burned and burned all the time.
Once things got to the mat both teams wanted to let stuff out. I don't think Kesha and Jen were necessarily laughing at Luke's mannerisms so much as at the situation, although I do think there was a bit of gamesmanship. I think Margie was overly sensitive by latching on to this as being laughing at Luke's deafness, but she then inflamed things by bringing race into it which I think was unwise. Overall I think no-one was initially to blame but it didn't reflect that well on either team how they allowed things to develop. On other matters - they must have changed the rules about a 12-hr pitstop, as these guys seemed to start about 24 hours after they finished. If they had started 12 hrs afterwards it would have been nighttime, and might have allowed the boys to catch up. I also noticed that in the next episode they seemed to start 24hrs rather than 12hrs after they arrived. I did find Team Firecrotch's comments about the cormorants funny - that it was so clever to have trained the cormorants not to swallow the fish. Uh, didn't they notice the choking rings around the cormorant's necks? There was no way anything bigger than a fish finger was going down those throats. As for Victor and Tammy - I don't know if you noticed but they speak chinese! Mind you they really needed to speak cormorant as their mandarin didn't seem to help their bird to behave. Funniest editing moments would be juxtaposing Team Firecrotch going on about how their cheerleading background meant they were experts at picking up choreography - interspersed with them continually getting gonged. Do we add the cheerleaders who can't learn a routine to the likes of the river guide who can't row a boat and the archer who can't shoot an arrow in the Reality Hall of Shame? |

I am sick of deaf dude sympathy. Jen and Kisha did NOTHING wrong (well nothing worse than Luke did). Sure there was a bit of a confrontation at those clue
boxes, but both teams were as bad as each other. One instance Jen and Kisha were more at fault, the other Luke was definitely at fault and pushed her harder
through the box. Jsut cos he's deaf, no sympathy from me.
Secondly, the way that Lukes mum responded at the pit stop pissed me off. Jen and Kisha remained calm and quiet in a sticky situation which to me showed more class from them. She may have smiled but it was not directed at them the way Margie reacted. The mothers reponse is ridiculous. Yes lets all act like angels around Luke jsut because he's death and give him all of our sympathy. Whatever. I just really hate how everyone hates them because the conflicted with the "deaf" guy. If it happened to any other team nobody would think anywhere near as much of it. Deaf guy was as bad as her. Simple. And thats why I hate diabled people on reality shows, because they automatically gain the public sympathy no matter what they do. I'm with Dal, I really hope they don't win.

I agree I hate feeling like I'm being manipulated and I think that's what TAR has been doing to me for a few weeks now with Luke.
