I think tonight's episode just brought home that if you go on one of these sorts of shows there are certain things you need to practice as they are common recurrences - swimming being one of them. If you're a weak swimmer you really should take some time to at least come to grips with the issue.

As often seems to be the case in Race, speaking the language is often of some but not significant benefit. Despite this "advantage" Victor and Tammy are not exactly scooping the others, given that you still have to make good choices, perform well, and get lucky with the cab drivers. As they remarked at one stage, speaking Mandarin to the cabbie only helped them confirm that the cabbie had no idea where he was going.

I still don't know who I want to win. I don't like either of the two female teams much. The only person I really like is Tammy but I don't like Victor. Margie has done incredibly well but there is something about their team that irks me a bit.
