Glad Paloma Blanka is gone. Her little girl voice was grating on my nerves big time.
Ace looked like he got pulled down a peg or two at TC.
And good for you, Sugar! Can't believe she found it!

Yeah after 3 boots, its still a bit meh.
Maybe its the location. While the segway shots are impressive, the camps are pretty boring looking (bit like china). But I guess after a nice island season its not really comparable. Its just looks way too predictable, even if there are a few twists coming up. Wouldnt mind seeing some sort of foursome alliance in the fang camp (thinking randy, dan, susie and matt) to compete for the kota 4 down the track. Not really sure if there is anything more to comment on. Survivor isnt as good as it used to be. |

My poor Paloma
I really like Sugar, but I really hate Ace, and it would have been smart of them to get rid of him. If he stays much longer, especially past a switch or something, then it might be hard to get rid of him. That reward challenge was brutal! ![]() |

I thought it was a good episode, and hey we gotta think, Micronesia wasn't anything fantastic by episode 3, it was good, maybe slightly above good, but it
sucked pretty bad from episode 4 to like 6, so I'm still keeping some faith in this season.
I'm sad to see Palmolive gone, I thought she would have been an interesting character, but Ace seems equally as interesting and will be this seasons villain. I'm happy the red team won both challenges, that RC was good fun, but mannnn did GC piss me off. He just stood there and did shit for half the challenge. Homegirl Chrystal kicked some major ass in that challenge, shes probably my fave along with Dan and Sugar. Hope those 3 make it far. The IC was good fun, it would have been awesome to see one of them slip off the slide and onto the sides with carpet burn marks HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA but that's just me being sick and unkind HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Looks like next week we have a switch of some sorts coming up..... |

Also wtf was up with removing the first 2 boots of the season? I wonder if they will be doing this every week? If so its pretty slack for the booted
contestants.

Palmolive That's true, Micronesia wasn't that great at Ep 3, but it sure did improve at the end, eh? Bloody brilliant at the end, I'd say. Are they not showing the boots in the opening credits again? I didn't notice. They did that before, either in Micro or China, can't remember which. I was more pissed off that we didn't get last words and the promo for the following week in Eps 1 and 2. But I did find a site for secret scenes and it showed the last words - I might post it in a thread here, in case anyone's interested. |

Micronesia was the best second half in every Survivor thru its history.
As for the opening credits, I think it was both in China and Micronesia that they didnt show pre boots once merge happened.. |

I'm enjoying the season so far. The tribe camps are a little bland, but overall I think the location is stunning. Much easier on the eye than Kenya was...
all barron and sun-drenched.
I really like the cast. I think they have a really good assortment of people. Micronesia was a great season for its gameplay, but not so much for its competitors (the so-called "fans"). I feel like after the first three eps that I already have a good take on most of the players this time 'round (Charlie the queeny but sweet gay guy; Marcus the hot nerd; Jacqui the smart silent one; Corrinne the bitch; Bob the professor; Gillian the annoying granny etc.). It's a really good, diverse mix. I was so happy to see Ken pull through on the puzzle section of the immunity challenge and win it for Fang, because for a minute there I was thinking -- the tribes as unbalanced as they are -- that Koda was going to wipe out Fang, Ulong style. It'd be boring to see something like that happen all over again. As much as I like Charlie and Marcus, I kinda hope that that alliance of four (onion alliance) crumbles down the track, just to make things a little more unpredictable. The fact that they've shown the bonds between Marcus and Chalie, and, to a lesser extent, the other two girls, signals to me that that alliance or at least part of it, will go far. I just hope that all four of them don't end up making it to the end. Boring! That said, Corinne will make for a good juror, so I hope she gets to that phase of the game. I was so surprised to see Sugar get the idol. Good on her! I don't like that she's teamed up with Ace though. He's a good villain, but it'll piss me off to see him go really far, and I think he does have the potential to go a long way. Ah well...at least the others are wary of him, and he's good value for now. Hard to pick favourites but at the moment I'm really liking Charlie, Ken, Crystal, and Randy. Randy is hilarious. I have been loving his commentary. Love his cynicism and snide, bitchy comments (loved the "GC...which stands for 'Golden Child'..." comment). He's fantastic, and quite different to a lot of the old men that they've had on in the past. If he goes anytime soon, it'll be a shame. |

Im enjoying the season so far as well (seen the first 3 eps). Corinne reminds me so much of Jerri, but she seems a bit more cluey too which is good. I love
Charleys crush on Marcus hehe. If i was there I'd have one on Dan from the red tribe. And i love that Sugar found the idol, i didnt think she was going to,
hopefully there is a good turnover of idols like in Micronesia and not one person have it the whole time and never use it (Terry, Yul).

I'm finally watching this season now (thanks to some very kind ASSters lending me DVDs of it) and thought I might as well put my two cents in. Seen the
first 3 episodes so far.
So far a pretty good season. I was liking the direction it was going with the golden tribe and the tribe that was falling apart, but that seemed to cahnge after Fang won that challenge. But been happy with its progression so far, and especially am loving such a different location and the scenic shots are amazing too. Exile Island isn't really an island either, is it. :s There are some interesting characters on here. So far the ones that stand out for me are Sugar, Crystal, Ace and the gay dude (forgett his names) as ones I think could get interesting later in the game. As much as I don't like him was kinda glad that Ace survived tonight, I think he could become an interesting player as the game progresses. Not liking Ken at all. |

Gay dude - that would be Charlie.
So, is anyone watching this on TV now? I'm enjoying it again. Admins, maybe you could move this thread and the Eps 1 and 2 thread out of spoilers now? |

Ch9 clearly don't want people to watch Go! I had a real job finding the websire for that channel, let alone an actual tv guide or schedule. Absolutely
pathetic.
