hahahahaha. How good was that? Whilst I did find tyson funny a lot of the time, It was so good to see him get blindsighted. I didn't like the way he spoke
at Tribal Council when Sierra was trying to talk as well. Coach will be well pissed off. Good on the others for doing it though. I thought it was stupid Coach
didn't participate in the challenge as well and left it up to tyson and debbie to ensure Sierra didn't get it. Love how next ep coach is running back
to Sierra wanting to align with her. Haha, awesome ep if only for Tribal Councl.

FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was total Awesome'ness!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't stand that sleaze ball. He had some funny comments here and there, but the high level of his arrogance was just disgusting. Him and Corrine should get together. Really happy Sierra stayed, I want her to make the finals and I cant believe I'm going to say this but I want Coach to make the finals too. Erinn has started to grow on me also, I think cause shes actually shown more and we know what sort of game she wants to play. I wonder if she is still going to turn the game on its head like she said if Sierra was to go? Also something that surprises me about Erinn is how chummy she is with coach and the other "samurai" alliance... didn't she hate them? Or maybe shes just being fake to them so she can stay around? I also wouldn't mind seeing Stephen go far. I like the kid. I just don't want to see J.T or Debbie win really. Its not that I don't like them or anything but wouldn't be happy with their win. |

Another great episode. This season is brilliant. I'm THRILLED Sierra got to stick around for another week. However I fear that it's fairly short lived
as they didn't even bother to tell her that they were going to vote out Tyson. I think she was more shocked than he was!
I was convinced that the only way Sierra could stay was to win immunity. It actually would've been really interesting to see what would've happened if she had won it, because then there would have to have been a scramble, meaning that Coach/Tyson probably would've targetted Erinn & the blindside may have been more difficult to do. It's amazing that they're already at final 7, so the next couple of weeks are the last times that the power can really shift because as of final 5 it is very hard to swing numbers. Therefore I can't wait to see what happens next. Based on the Tyson vote, I guess Debbie & Coach are now on the complete opposite side to to the Jalapaos as they'd feel pretty betrayed. However all of the remaining Timbiras should realise that if they pick another one of their own off, that makes it 3 members each from the original tribes - I wonder if it's as obvious to the players as it is to the audience that the Jalapaos seem to be sticking together no matter what. Therefore logically, it's the best collective move for all of the Timbiras to pick off at least one of the ex-Jalapaos at the next vote to maintain majority - probably JT or Stephen. But then again, knowing how much tension there now is amongst the old Timbiras, they may not play logically and therefore hand the Jalapaos the upper-hand. As much as it'd be great to see Sierra last longer, I suspect she's still on the outs. Nobody even told her that Tyson was going, so therefore they may still plan to take her out next. It seems like nobody likes her very much. What I'd love to see next is the Timbiras stick together for at least one vote and blindside Stephen out of the game (with the idol), and then for all hell to break loose at the final 6 with everybody paranoid of each other and new alliances having to form. At that point I'd like to see Erinn go (as a mutually beneficial target) and then Coach (let him get so close to the end and then cut him), leaving a final 4 of Debbie, Sierra, JT & Taj. Nothing ever happens as you want it to, but it's nice to dream. I wouldn't mind seeing any of those four win the game, but I don't think Sierra has any shot because it seems like people resent her being out there. Then again, Sierra & Erinn should start utilising the fact that they are not well-liked and therefore convince people that they would be good goats to drag to the final 2. I'm devo....I think I'm flying to Europe just before the finale. Originally the finale was scheduled for May 10th which is before I fly out, however I think it's been pushed back to May 17th 'cause of the recrap & March madness. Not sure if I'll get to see the end!!! Argh frustrating. ![]() |

Alright! One down, one more to go! Great ep! That was a very satisfying vote, and the only thing that could have made it better was if it was Coachebag, but
looks like he'll be toast next week. Can't wait to see that one happen.
I hated how Tyson was talking to Sierra, telling her she was not smart. Who's smart now? I really thought Sierra was going to win the Immunity Challenge and Stephen was looking real worried at that. I can't understand the Sierra hate either - apparently last week when Erinn voted for Sierra she said "I'd gladly make this vote 1,000 times". There must be a lot they're not showing us about her. It's amazing how quickly this game can turn around - one day you're doing everything you can to stay alive and it looks like there is no hope at all; the next day you're the person in a position of power. Can't wait to see Coachebag grovel to Sierra next week. Followed by his boot. Fingers crossed. And yeah, Brendan's clapping during the TC was the icing on the cake! Lu, I know what you mean - I'm going to NZ next Saturday so I may miss the next couple of eps, and may have to wait till I get back to watch the Finale. Wouldn't mind so much except that I just HAVE to see Douchebag voted out. And he has to go, right? |

I hated how Tyson was talking to Sierra, telling her she was not smart. Who's smart now?Still not Sierra! That's who! While I don't hate her, I'm just not a Sierra fan. She just floats along like driftwood, really. Although I do like the way she's handled Coach/Tyson's kicks in the face with grace. I'll give her that. The vote was sensational...GREAT tribal council! I liked Tyson (as a character), and it was great to see such a dominant force in the game come crumbling - and even greater that Coach could do nothing but sit there and watch each vote be read, realising one by one that everybody was against him. HA! Great blindside...Sierra was a logical goner, and it was very smart for Stephen to orchestrate that move. The red herring of Erin's confessionals had me guessing it could be her -- Tyson was very subtley edited in there. Well done!

Sierra's still in the game and Tyson's not - even if his boot wasn't by her hand, she's still there. He turned the spotlight onto himself as a
challenge threat which was not very smart. I'm not much of a fan of hers either and I think she should shut up, but Tyson's meanness was getting a bit
much.
I think it's hilarious that in the last ep Coach was telling Sierra to accept her fate with honour, to fall on her sword like a warrior, and to not scramble and try to make deals. And now in the preview for the next ep what do we see? Coach scrambling and trying to make a deal with Sierra. Even laying a guilt trip on her "Just where do your loyalties lie, Sierra"? I'd have answered, "Not with you, asshole". |

Jeff's Blog -
Hey all, How good was that episode?! On a scale of 1-10, I'd love your feedback. I honestly think it's one of the best Survivor episodes ever, for the following reasons: 1. LOVED IT: The opening shot of Coach standing in the water doing his various poses - not because it's Coach but because if you really go back and look at the shot it's absolutely amazing. Our helicopter team is so good. That shot is really beautiful as it spins around him and then pulls away. It's movie good. Bet you didn't even notice it - it was that good. Go back and check. 2. HATED IT: Okay, I've had just about enough of Sierra having to plead for her life with everybody else. Coach, Tyson, Debbie - everybody lecturing her. The ''older folk'' are working the young girl over and now Sierra is my new favorite underdog. Sierra, tell them to shut it. It's easy to do. Just say, ''Shut it.'' Even Serena is really pissed. She is mad that Sierra has never been given a fair shot. From day one, when she was sick and ousted from the tribe, she has been working hard to earn their approval. Serena is angry. Very angry. I like it when Serena gets angry. BTW: Tyson, you're wrong - her boyfriend IS pretty cool. Mess with him, you mess with me and you don't want to mess with me. Okay, check that, maybe you do want to mess with me, so I'm just asking, please don't mess with me. 3. TENDER MOMENT: Coach has a heart. He extends an olive branch to the young female Dragon Slayer in the making, Sierra. She needs a better Dragon Slayer name though - how about Sierra-Mota. Has a certain ring, I think. And Sierra with a beautiful line: ''How do you save the kind enemy?'' I know for many of you this just passes by without appreciation, but as a veteran of this reality world, I'm telling you this kind of writing is rare air. Serena says, ''It's like we're in the Twilight zone. None of this makes any sense.'' 4. WEATHER ORGASM: Oh, you know I love the rain. Love it. Love it. Love it. If there is such thing as a ''reality show host program orgasm'' this is it for me. Go ahead, make all the pithy comments you want. I encourage them all because I own it - I love the rain. But to have rain...mixed along with hot pizza and a huge dilemma for the contestants... you have a Survivor episode worthy of an Emmy. And an orgasm worthy of it's own blog. Are you reading this Emmy voters? I challenge you to watch this episode and then tell me this show is not worthy of an Emmy nomination. I'm not positioning, I'm merely preaching the gospel. Where's the love? Let us back in the game for crying out loud. 5. POSER ALERT: Coach, you're such a poser! The ''dragon slayer'' who wants to change the game and play against the best, doesn't think twice about opting for pizza over immunity? I expected better. Coach's ''I'm hungry'' move just about did Serena in for the night. ''These three guys (Coach, Stephen, JT) think they are king of the world and it pisses me off.'' Okay I'm not that mad, that's what happens in this game. It's what is supposed to happen in the game. That's how it's designed. You think you're in control so you take a chance. Stephen and JT clearly feel they are very safe in this game. That kind of cockiness is fun to watch but it can backfire quickly, so heads up country mouse and city slicker - watch your backs. 6. WRITE THIS DOWN: ''It would be (bleeping) stupid if we made an alliance, gave it a name, bandied the name about, talked about ourselves being warriors and then chickened out at the last second.'' Oh man, that made me laugh so hard I had to play it back again and again so I could get it exactly right when I added it to the blog. Coach you may be a poser, but are a classic, dude. 7. CAN YOU SAY BLINDSIDE?: Tyson, I am going to miss you so much. Man, you were a blast. People will miss you way more than they realize. But dude, what a great blindside, eh? I mean they kicked your ass. Zero idea. Great hair at tribal council, by the way. FINAL WORDS: I know this season has been a slow burn...but I hope you're starting to enjoy it as much as I hoped you would. Like I said, tonight was hands down my favorite episode of the season and one of my favorites of all time. I look forward to your always-insightful comments. |
