This is the thread where you identify those classes of people who are suitable for eradication, for the greater good of society, when we have our glorious revolution. This is not the sporking thread where you give specific people a kick up the rear end. This thread is for those identifiable groups who are causing societal harm and need to be removed for the common good. Obviously, first on the list are supermarket trolley-pullers, for reasons explained elsewhere. Who else?

Yes! Those people who stand in the middle of the aisles at the Vic Market having lovely catch ups while they block everyone else from shopping.
People who stop still in deserted aisles etc are fine (and possibly performance artists), it's those as who block everyone else who must go up against the wall. |

People who walk too slowAbsolutely. It's not only the aisles of supermarkets that get cluttered by dawdlers, but footpaths, corridors and the like. Ticket scalpers - those who buy tickets they never intend to use solely to sell out a show, then put them up for sale at much more than face value.

Idiot lift designers who put a set of buttons against the wall right at ass-height, so when the lift is crowded and people pack against the wall they sit on
the buttons and the lift stops on all floors.
ETA: Oh, and Twig - I expect it won't be long for AP to come along and defend the likes of these little pieces...

On a multi-lane road where the speed is 80kph or less, then there is no obligation to keep left unless there is a "keep left unless overtaking" sign posted. If the speed limit is over 80kph, then you must keep left unless: (a) the driver is turning right, or making a U-turn from the centre of the road, and is giving a right change of direction signal, or (b) the driver is overtaking, or (c) a left lane must turn left sign or left traffic lane arrows apply to any other lane and the driver is not turning left, or (d) the driver is required to drive in the right lane under Road Rule 159, or (e) the driver is avoiding an obstruction, or (f) the traffic in each other lane is congested, or (g) the traffic in every lane is congested, or (h) the right lane is a special purpose lane in which the driver, under another provision of these Rules, is permitted to drive, or (i) there are only 2 marked lanes and the left lane is a slow vehicle turn out lane. See Rule 130 of the National Road Rules. But yes, people who drive in the right on fast roads and impede traffic are indeed worthy of execution.

Hrm, looks like I might have to contact Geoffrey Robertson to get on to an appeal to save the lives of street artists.
Taggers on the other hand - well, I'd fight to spare them too if they'd use their giant textas and spray cans for good rather than evil. Perhaps they could be put in stocks rather than shot out of hand? |

That's one of my pet hates too. I often go down the M5 and there is always someone holding up the traffic.
Also, people who drift over the line before they finally decide to put their blinkers on, especially when they're right in front of you and there's not enough room for them to merge in in front of you. That happened to me today 
And.... people turning left where there is a lane for them to go (no give way or merging, the lane continues around the corner) and they STOP! grrrr Happens just up the road from me.  |

Uh oh. We Americans are in trouble. We ALWAYS drive in the right lane.
Parents who let their kids run amok, then give the evil eye to strangers (yes, me) who happen to not be amused by this (or dread having to potentially dive into traffic to save the poor thing as said parent chats on cell phone. |

Mine may not be in context outside of Melbourne, but are huge problems here (for me anyway):
People who push through you rather than say "Excuse me". People who wear white shoes with suits (extend that to blokes who wear magnificent suits but then have a backpack over their shoulder). People who think binge drinking is a sport. More to come I would think. I want a lot of things eradicated |
