As anyone who has been watching the "Fans v Favourites" series knows, it's been a great season. The finale is a two hour double episode. But fans also know that it isn't until the Reunion episode that the winner of the series is actually declared. Sadly, that will be another night later, at 11:00pm on Tuesday December 16. Oh well, it should be worth the wait, especially if you've avoided internet spoilers so far. Nine is expected to procceed with Survivor: Gabon a week later. To be confimed. Source: tvtonight

They will for sure show up until the winner is announced, and then from that point show the rest of the reunion the next night. We've had that happen in the past. Plus notice the reunion is scheduled for 11.30pm. I bet it only goes for half an hour or something because of that. But this isn't that bad the timeslot. I remember the Fiji finale didn't start until 11.30pm or something? Maybe it was even midnight. I remember staying up until the wee hours of the morning for that one. There is then an ad break and the "reunion" officially starts. If Nine sticks to that breakup then it won't be quite so bad - but it does seem silly not showing the reunion directly after the announcement.

It would have been the logical place for the show to appear, but Nine will return unaired episodes of Monster House on Monday December 29 and movies on Tuesday December 30. A week later it's more of the same. Any hope that it might be moving to 9HD, given the series is filmed in high definition for the first time, also seems premature. Source: tvtonight

Although some of my Survivor mates have digital so I could rely on them. At least we get Dal. Is he an adequate substitute for Jeff Probst? Would Erik run up to his brother and say "Look - it's Dal - it's REALLY HIM!"?

I refuse to download it in the standard quality that I've watched Survivor in since Guatemala.. once you see the show in vivid high definition, it is literally impossible to compromise with anything less. Chews up about 1gb of data each week though! It's a great, GREAT season too. In the post-ASS seasons, it ranks up as my third favourite, behind Micronesia and China.

So that article is wrong. Anyway one thing it also said about tonight's episode when was that (minor spoiler) Spoiler [+] it talks about the final 2 at the final tribal council. I guess because so many people had to leave this season they are going for a final 2 than three. Much better. That would make things interesting as the contestants seem to assume its a final 3, so Parv and Amanda would prob be the final 2 in that case which I would love - they are the two most deserving of winning this season! Two of the smartest players ever!

It's funny, cause I'm hoping to also watch the Survivor Gabon finale tonight, if it comes through on You Tube by then. It's been weird watching the two seasons side by side. Late night coming up.
